Day 01 Arrive Delhi
Arrive in Delhi, the capital city of India. After
completing formalities with customs and immigration, you
will
be received by our representative with Traditional
Indian Welcome (with garlands).
Delhi is the capital of India since old times. Delhi's
history dates back to the first millenium BC, when it
was known as Indraprastha. The Tomar Rajputs built Lal
Kot, the core of the first of Delhi's seven cities. It
is the epicenter of the nation's politics, economy and
culture. History is alive and throbbing in Delhi, the
capital of India.
Afterwards transfer to your hotel for the overnight
stay.
Day 02 In Delhi.
After breakfast you embark on your sightseeing trip of
Delhi City which would include the visit to Old Delhi
and New Delhi
Old Delhi : An ancient walled city. Here you would see
the Red Fort, the most opulent Fort and Palace of the
Mughal Empire, Rajghat the Samadhi of our Father of
Nation, Jama Masjid the largest mosque in India and
Chandni Chowk the bustling and colourful market of the
old city.
New Delhi : The city designed and built by the British
in the 1920’s- a city of wide boulevards impressive
Government Buildings, green parks and gardens. First you
will visit the two monuments from the Delhi’s past
Humayun’s Tomb and Qutab Minar. Then your drive takes
you along the ceremonial avenue, Rajpath, past the
Imposing India Gate and Parliament House.
After completing the sightseeing return back to the
Hotel for Overnight.
Day 03 Delhi - Bhubaneswar
After breakfast transfer to domestic airport to connect
the flight for Bhubaneswar. On arrival at the
Bhubaneswar airport you are received, welcomed and
transferred to hotel.
Bhubneshwar, the capital of Orissa, is often known as
the 'temple town' owing to its over 7000 extravagant,
Orissan architectural style temples that existed around
the Bindusagar tank. About 5 kms from the city are the
Udayagiri and Khandagiri caves, both dating from the
Buddisht period.

After check in to the hotel relex for a while and after
that embark on your sightseeing trip of city:
Bindusagar Lake
Lying to the north of the Lingaraja Temple, the
Bindusagar Lake is one of the popular tourist
attractions of Bhubaneswar. Infact, the lake has been
gaining more and more popularity amongst the tourists as

Lingaraj Temple
Lingaraj temple is one of the most popular temples of
Orissa. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, also
known as ‘Lingaraj’. It is adorned with beautiful
sculptures, which have been carved on the spire. More

Mukteshwar temple, one of the most prominent temples of
Bhubaneswar, has been constructed in the style that is
quite similar to the one used in the Kalinga School of

Rajarani Temple
Rajarani temple is one of the most renowned temples in
Bhubaneswar, the capital city of Orissa. It is made from
the wonderful red and gold sandstone, which is locally
known as Rajarani and this is what gives the temple its
name of ‘Raja Rani’. More
Orissa State Museum
The origin of Orissa State Museum can be traced back to
the year 1932. Its foundation was laid when Professor N.
C. Banerjee and Professor Ghanshyam Dash of Ravenshaw
College, two famous historians, initiated the task of
collecting archaeological treasures from different
places.
Return to hotel after completing the sightseeing.

Day 04 Bhubaneswar - Puri
via Dhauli, Pipli village & Konark ( Approx 56 Kms - 02
hours )
After breakfast at hotel, today drive to Puri, en-route
visit Dhauli & Pipli village & Konark (Sun Temple).
First stop is at
Dhauli, where
Mauryan Emperor Ashoka the Great renounced
bloody warfare & embraced the teachings of Buddha after
victory over kingdom of Kalinga. Here visit Peace Pagoda
known as Shanti Stupa built in early 1970 by Japanese.
Also visit two ancient rock edicts, today eclipsed by
the presence of the Pagoda. Dating from 260 BC they
outline Ashoka's detailed instructions to his
administrators to rule with gentleness & fairness. Next
visit the Colorful
Pipli village, where Orissan Handicrafts, the speciality
is the appliqué work
Later drive to Puri en route visit
Konark temple Chariot of the Sun God, built by King
Langula Narasimha Deva in the 13 century AD in the
Golden era of Orissan art. This crowning piece of
Orissan architecture & sculpture is sheer poetry on
stone.
On arrival check in to the hotel. Rest of the evening
free at leisure.

Day 05 In Puri
After breakfast embark on your full day trip of Puri.
Today visit the famous
Jagannath Temple, dedicated to Krishna (Vishnu) in his
deity form of Jagannath, meaning Lord of the Universe
(Jag translates to Universe, nath means Lord). The
present temple structure was built by Ananta Brama
Chodaganga Dev in middle of 12th century AD (1078-1147
AD). It is a curvilinear temple which rises to 214 feet.
Crowning the very top is the 'srichakra' (an eight
spoked wheel) of Vishnu. The most important festival is
the Rath Yatra or the Chariot festival once a year.
Later explore the
Puri beach, one of India's finest beaches. Puri Beach
attracts millions of travelers to India with its
strategic setting & religious importance.
Return to the hotel after the sightseeing.

Day 06 Puri - Gopalpur via
Chilka Lake ( Approx 200 km- 05 hr)
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Gopalpur via
Chilka Lake
Chilka Lake, famous for its bird sanctuary. It is Asia's
largest inland salt-water lagoon. Studded with small
islands including the picturesquely named Honeymoon
Island & Breakfast Island, the lake is separated by a
sandy ridge. It is dotted with small islands & has an
impressive array of bird life both native & migrant.
White bellied sea eagles, graylag geese, purple moorhen,
jacana, herons & flamingos are most popular bird species
found. Other than the birds, its shores are home to
black buck, spotted deer, golden jackals & the lake is
rich in aquatic life, its water harbor various species
of fish including the famous Chilka dolphin. Prawn, crab
& mackerel fishing is an important source of livelihood
for the locales.
Later drive to
Gopalpur on Sea, ancient sea port often visited by
tourists. Sand dunes, groves of coconut palm &
casuarinas separate the small town from the beach.
On arrival check in to the hotel. Rest of the day free
at leisure or for own activites.

Day 07 In Gopalpur

Breakfast at hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure.

Day 08 Gopalpur –
Bhubaneswar ( Approx 200 Kms/05 Hours)
After breakfast at hotel, drive back to Bhubaneswar, on
arrival in Bhubaneswar, transfer to the airport to
connect the flight for Delhi. On arrival at Delhi’s
domestic airport you are received and are transferred to
the hotel. Upon arrival at hotel check in .
Rest of the day free at leisure.
Overnight at Hotel.
Day 09 Delhi
Breakfast at hotel. Rest of the day free till departure
(Hotel Check Out time : 1200 Hrs)
In the evening departure transfer to airport to connect
flight back home.
